Team: Key Individuals

Justin Huynh

Justin Huynh has served as Director of Business Development at Liquidware since 2008. Justin’s expertise is in helping clients integrate new technologies into their hardware development efforts. He focuses on gaining a deep understanding of the client’s challenges, and incorporates strategic insight in designing viable system architectures, while ensuring that proposed solutions are feasible and meet specifications, cost targets and schedule commitments.

Justin has worked with numerous companies across multiple disciplines, including health, fitness, defense, industrial automation and consumer products.

Prior to joining Liquidware, Justin was a New York-based consultant with the IMS Consulting Group, a division of IMS Health. In this role, he advised Top Ten pharmaceutical companies on clinical trial design, drug pricing and reimbursement strategy.

As a researcher at Rockefeller University, Justin published research on the neurological bases of cocaine addiction and relapse. Justin holds an A.B. from Princeton University in Molecular Biology and Neuroscience.

Christopher Ladden

Christopher Ladden is a founding partner of Liquidware and currently serves as Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Research and Development. With 10 years of professional experience in electrical engineering and computational architecture, Chris tackles some of the most complex problems in hardware design and software integration. Chris routinely develops on the latest chipset platforms and specializes in sub-system design and reconfigurable computing. At Liquidware, he oversees all new technical product and solutions development.

Prior to leading Liquidware’s engineering team, Chris served as a Project Manager at the Goodrich Corporation and has held a variety of technical positions at Danaher Corporation, United Technologies Corporation, and General Dynamics Corporation. His broad-based technical experience includes design, development and debug of aerospace engine controls, military-grade sensor networking, as well as high-performance power management.

Chris holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Connecticut.

Michael Gionfriddo

Michael Gionfriddo is a founding partner of Liquidware, and currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and VP of Manufacturing. Mike specializes in design for manufacturing (DFM) as well as supply chain performance and optimization. With 8 years of experience in semiconductor, flash memory, and display panel sourcing, Mike taps into an extensive network of senior managers at Top 100 electronics component and silicon providers.

In addition to overseeing Liquidware’s manufacturing network in North America and Asia, Mike also engages clients on strategic product lifecycle management by ensuring the longevity of solutions designed today while optimizing end-unit cost.

Previously, Mike held a Business Development position at the Northeast Utilities System and has worked in engineering capacities at Pitney Bowes and The University of Connecticut.

Mike holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Connecticut.
