The product of an engineering collaboration between Liquidware and Modern Device, these DIY sensors have a few design elements that make it easier to integrate into the Arduino ecosystem. Unlike simpler IC breakouts, these sensors provide onboard voltage tolerance where needed, since most folks are interfacing the sensors with an Arduino-compatible board capable of outputting 5V, with some chips operating at a maximum of 3.3V or less.
