Hacker’s Portfolio
I live in New York City, and I grew up seeing the sketchy dudes that sold knockoff watches in briefcases lined with velvet. What I always admired was their ability to just be milling around, and as soon as you come within 10 feet of them, that briefcase flies open—revealing rows of neatly placed, crappy, yet shiny watches, just waiting to make it onto someone’s wrist. My personal favorite was the one where all the letter O’s were written as Q’s. Welcome to the world of RQLEX.
But I digress. Now I’ve captured for you the very essence of the sketchy knockoff watch salesman in the Hacker’s Portfolio—a slim, yet solid portfolio with a fabric-textured hardcover. What’s great is that it can be flipped out easily for presentation, much like the salesman’s briefcase. But even better than velvet, the interior is lined with strips of Velcro, so your hardware won’t go flying off when you’re just a little too eager to show it off to the next passerby. If you’re just dying for a briefcase, maybe you’ll like this one.
