Arduino Gadget Case

The Arduino Starter Kit becomes a full-fledged portable unit with solid brushed aluminum cases.

A custom built enclosure by Jan for the Starter Kit, the Gadget Case comes as a kit with assembly instructions to create a permanent, on-the-go touchscreen handheld that is rugged enough for field applications.

With some modifications, the case could be waterproofed as well, perfectly suited for outdoor applications.

Designed for the TouchShield Slide, Arduino Duemilanove, and Lithium Backpack stack, the left side includes cutouts for the TouchShield programming button, 5V DC and USB input to the Arduino, as well as charging and on-off switching for the Lithium Backpack.

The case comes in four flavors: silver, gunmetal, black (gloss) and camouflage for military applications. If you don’t already have an Arduino Starter Kit, the Field Gadget Kit includes this metal enclosure as well as the TouchShield Slide, Arduino Duemilanove, and Lithium Backpack.
