David Bieneman
David Bieneman has founded and led three successful organizations with his desire to make both the user and admin desktop experience more efficient through innovative technologies and management software. In the mid 90’s, Bieneman began working with early virtualization technologies including VM/386, Citrix WinFrame, and NT Terminal Server to solve many clients’ early remote access and server-based computing needs. In 2002 he founded Vizioncore as a software development company focused on enhancing Citrix and VMware platforms. The business thrived as a provider of security, policies and printer control tools. In 2004, after seeing VMware’s early success with VMware ESX, Bieneman and team switched focus to handle hot backups and recovery of virtual machines. New technologies were born including esxRanger (vRanger), esxCharter, esxMigrator and esxReplicator. After great success, Vizioncore was acquired by Quest Software in 2007. Realizing that desktop virtualization was set for growth and that Windows delivery was becoming diversified, Bieneman co-founded Liquidware in 2009 to help consultants and organizations rapidly and efficiently manage desktop transitions in virtual and physical desktop environments. Liquidware is now the leader in workspace environment management with the most comprehensive suite available today. The products are currently known as Liquidware Essentials and consist of Stratusphere UX (monitoring and diagnostics), ProfileUnity (user environment management) and FlexApp (application layering). Liquidware has over 80 employees across the globe and more than 1,800 customers.
