ProU Config Visualizer
A read-only visualizer for ProfileUnity configurations: link filters to the items they control, find unused filters, simulate which filters apply to a user, and check configuration health at a glance.
Overview
ProU Config Visualizer is a standalone tool that visualizes ProfileUnity configurations. It links filters to the configuration items they control, finds unused filters, searches Application Restriction rules, simulates which filters apply to a specific user or machine, and shows the health of your whole filter landscape on one dashboard. It only reads from ProfileUnity and never changes anything, and it runs locally on your own computer.

What it does
Filters linked to items
See in an interactive graph which filters drive which configuration items, and find filters nothing uses.
Simulate a user
Check which filters apply to a user or machine, based on AD groups, computer name, username, and IP address.
Configuration health
A dashboard with a health score and module coverage shows the state of your configuration at a glance.
Read-only and local
Only reads from ProfileUnity, and listens only on your own computer (127.0.0.1).
How it works

Download and extract the .zip.

Start prou-visualizer-desktop.exe, or prou-visualizer.exe to use it in your browser.

Log in with your ProfileUnity server URL and console credentials.

Pick a configuration from the server, or load an exported JSON file.
- 5
Explore the Dashboard, Filters, Simulate, and the module screens.
