Partnering with Amazon Web Services for Adaptive Workspaces

Liquidware is an Advanced Technology Partner for Amazon Web Services (AWS).  Our solutions support Amazon WorkSpaces and Amazon AppStream.

AWS Advanced Tech PartnerLiquidware Stratusphere UX gathers and provides key user experience metrics to support design of desktop images and infrastructure for Amazon WorkSpaces and AppStream. Key diagnostics ensure that the highest fidelity desktops are provided to users based on their requirements, whether task workers or professional / power users. This solution has achieved Amazon Web Services (AWS) Digital Workplace Competency status.

Liquidware ProfileUnity harvests the current user workspace and applications to prepare for a smooth migration to Amazon WorkSpaces.  Administrators can orchestrate workspace changes from one central management console.  ProfileUnity offers features that support ongoing management of user profiles, policies, user-authored data and cloud storage for users. This solution also allow users to co-exist and move across physical, virtual, RDS, and mixed Windows OS, RDSH, Server 2016) with ease. Additional features boost desktop security with policy management, application restriction, blacklisting and whitelisting, granular or complete desktop lockdown and privilege elevation.  ProfileUnity has achieved Amazon Web Services (AWS) Digital Workplace Competency Status.

Liquidware FlexApp is now the first application layering solution to support Amazon AppStream.  In doing so, the product greatly streamlines the management thereof, and drives costs down for users. FlexApp achieves these operational and cost savings by allowing administrators to leverage a single Windows Server base image to deliver multiple applications.  This approach eliminates the need to constantly update the base image or affect user productivity with application updates. FlexApp layered applications are not installed to the base image of the AppStream Windows Server, but instead are layered onto the server, where they look, react, and feel as if they were installed. FlexApp has achieved Amazon Web Services (AWS) Digital Workplace Competency Status.

FlexApp and ProfileUnity are both equipped with the ability to migrate profiles and applications to cloud-based storage, including, among others, Amazon S3. This function enables users to reap critical efficiency benefits during desktop migrations to cloud platforms like Amazon AppStream and Amazon WorkSpaces. In this adoption process, FlexApp layers moreover provide a singular delivery mechanism from a highly available S3 bucket.
